A true tribute to the Heritage of Craftsmanship, this Limited Edition has 5,236 pieces of Portuguese silver filigree. The technique of filigree dates back to the third millennium B.C., and has been handed down from generation to generation. This ancient art of ornamental openwork wrought of fine silver wire turns this piece into a true objet d’art. It demands great skill, as the curling, twisting and plaiting fine, pliable threads of metal are devised by hand. The pieces are then united in their points of contact by means of silver solder and borax. The Heritage is a jewel for a living space.
